====== TIMEleSS Viewer ======

The TIMEleSS viewer is a simple application to view series of 3D-XRD data files. It is built on top of [[https://github.com/silx-kit/silx | silx]] which was developed at ESRF to provide a collection of Python packages to support the development of data assessment, reduction and analysis applications at synchrotron radiation facilities. silx aims to provide reading/writing tools for different file formats, data reduction routines and a set of Qt widgets to browse and visualise data.

Multigrain diffraction features are all accessible from the ''3D-XRD extra'' menu and include
  *  plotting series of EDF files with omega values
  *  overlay peaks from a peak search
  *  subtract a background (from a median image, for instance)
  *  Play with image orientation and the [[dac_experiments:geometry|flip matrix (O-matrix)]] options
  *  Stack all images
  * Save a mean or median image for [[processing:backgroundgeneral|background evaluation]]

When you start the TIMEleSS viewer:
  * hit the ''ctrl'' key and keep it pressed
  * select your first diffraction image
  * hit the ''shit'' key and keep it pressed
  * select your last diffraction image

The GUI should start, with your files opened.
